What others say about us: Cycling around the World on the WWW and in print
Cycling Around the World has been around since 1997. Many sites link to us and have given some some friendly comment on layout and content of our site. Our travelogues and website appeared in several magazines. We’ve collected an overview of what others said about us; in English, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish and other languages.

“Absolute favourites! These are the sites I usually keep going back to.”
Jan Boonstra’s cycling pages
“What Paul van Roekel and Anja de Graaf did on the bicycle (north, south America, India, Namibia, Australia) is certainly as impressive as their web pages about these travels. With pictures, so beautiful, you have to see them! .”
Spinning Southward
“..we thought we were hardcore, this site keeps us humble and informed…”
The Guardian (the UK newspaper)
“A lovely site, with such excellent touches as the bike vocabulary translator which delivers every possible cycling term in any of six different languages, a guide to the best cycle travel writing, and a tips section which includes an interactive packing checklist so you can tailor your list of needs according to your itinerary. The only slight problem is the site’s tendency to direct English speakers to the Dutch version, but when the content is this good, that kind of inconvenience can be forgiven.” Listed among other sites as Best Site on Cycling
PassPlanet; a travel guide to Asia and Central America
“Another great site for bikers with an extensive choice of countries, incl. Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, India & Nepal. Lot’s of tips, interesting travelogues, nice photos, good selection of links,… A superb realization!” See the links section
