The main roads off India are often full with overloaded trucks and speeding cars. And numerous cyclists, pedestrians and cattle. As a travelling cyclist you are at the bottom of the traffic-hierarchy. Keep your eyes open all the time! The good part of cycling in India is that off the main roads these trucks and cars dissapear. You can peddle your bike relaxed over narrow tree-lined country-roads. Like the one on this photo.
