Our bikes… – Cycling Around The World

This page is dedicated to the bikes we ride.  We ride  custom made Explorers made by Snel Tweewielers in Utrecht (the Netherlands).

These bikes never let us down, not even on the toughest roads. Never had a broken spoke due to the quality hand made wheels. The strong Tubus bike racks carried all our luggage and supplies without a single complaint ;-).

Update

In August 2017 these bikes will be replaced by two new Travel Lite bikes made by Santos bikes.  Both powered by a Rohloff speedhub and a Gates belt drive. We are looking forward to this new riding experience!
