Cycling in the Netherlands : Bicycle maps

When you prefer to find your own way cycling around the Netherlands you’ll need an excellent map. Only then you’ll be able to avoid the main roads and find the separate cycle lanes through the countryside.

Recommended maps

ANWB/VVV toeristenkaarten 1:100.000

These maps are the only ones that include all the cycle lanes and signposts especially designed for cyclists. They are the best when you want to find your own way around the country. To cover the whole country you’ll need quite a few maps.

ANWB wegenatlas Nederland 1:100.000

This roadmap is a good choice when you prefer one map for the whole country. It’ ll do when you follow signposted routes. Keep in mind that it’s designed for car drivers and doesn’t show all cycle lanes and signposts.
