Seeing Places | Lake Tekapo

An beautiful lake on the road from Christchurch to Queenstown. We decided to stay one day to enjoy to views and to take a day a rest from cycling against very strong headwinds which were common in the period (April) we visited this area. But the day we left the wind was even stronger and we had to divert our route south to the town of Twizel, instead of going directly north to Mount Cook. New Zealand Tip: All NZ campgrounds have great kitchens, equipped with stoves, tables and fridge
