In all Indian cities accommodation in guesthouses or hotels is easy to find. But as a cyclist you will often have to stay in small villages . At one of these occasions locals directed us to the local ashram. We were looked after by the local holy men who provided us with a great meal of ‘sabji’ and chapatis. The next morning they insisted on showing us around the temple complex and of course we had to take their pictures. This kind of experiences compensate for all the hardships and problems on an around the world bike trip!
