Our bikes – Paul and Anja travel on custom made bikes by Snel Tweewielers in Utrecht

This page is dedicated to the bikes we ride. In 1987 we purchased two Koga Myata World Travellers and we were riding them untill 2004. In 2004 we purchased two custom made Explorers made by Snel Tweewielers in Utrecht (the Netherlands).

Components of our bikes

The bikes are assembled with Shimano LX and XT (hubs and derailler) components. We use steel racks made by Tubus. The wheels have 40 spokes and Mavix T520 rims. The mudguards can be removed easily on boggy roads.
